England's Magna Carta Article 39

England’s Magna Carta of Article 39 stated that no freemen shall be taken, imprisoned, exiled or deprived of liberty without due process of law. Article 49 states that any hostages seized by Englishmen will be immediately released. While Article 52 states property or land seized without due process of law shall be immediately restored.
